About Wheeler Ministries
Wheeler Ministries helps pastors, ministry leaders, missionaries, and entire churches live God-honoring lives in ministry and at home.
Wheeler Ministries is a non-profit organization serving to provide education, consulting, and counseling to benefit and encourage individuals, families, and churches under #509-892-6.
Wheeler Ministries (WM) primarily serves people through seminars, workshops, coaching, consulting, and counseling. WM was founded to give people a place to find specific help for some of the troubling needs of today’s modern families.
After seeing many people struggle to find help in parenting and in their marriages, Tony and Stacey felt called to develop a vehicle to help people discover some specific ways to find freedom and healing from relational issues such as difficulty in communicating, trouble connecting, and, even, learning specific technics about how to strengthen your marriage to greatly increase marital satisfaction (see The Choice in Marriage Seminar) and encourage and strengthen every family relationship (see The Choice for Healthy Relationships Seminar).
Dr. Tony and Stacey Wheeler co-founded this non-profit ministry to provide help and hope to hurting individuals, marriages, families, and teams. They have spent their entire married lives seeking to understand how marriages and families work, starting in their own marriage and including in their family two master’s degrees in the area of marriage and family (Tony and Isaac) and one Ph.D. in Family Life Education and Consultation from Kansas State University. For his dissertation for this degree, Tony studied the top six elements in a strong marriage. These six elements will surprise you! (See The Choice in Marriage Seminar.) Stacey earned her Master’s Degree in English from Fort Hays State University so she could write content that helps individuals and families find healing and hope. Their entire family desires to see people set free to love and find their purpose in the Kingdom of God.

Dr. Wheeler's "secret sauce": Know Your SPF
The Coffee Conversations Workshops were designed to take a step-by-step approach to help people better understand and improve communication and know their individual self-protective façade (SPF) style. This is Tony’s “secret sauce” that makes him different from any other speaker. Over the last 27 years as a counselor, he began to notice some trends in how we all protect our hearts instead of allowing God to be our shield and refuge. This created façade distances us from others, preventing intimacy, and also creates a defensive position in our marriages and relationships instead of the open and honest communication we all crave. We all have core desires and core needs, and we have also all learned to protect ourselves from ever being hurt. This is a God-given ability, yet it can also prevent us from loving others, keeping us in a defensive position within key relationships.
